I don't remember ever watching a solar eclipse before. Maybe I did a very long time ago when I was a kid, and it just faded from my memory. Wikipedia says there was one in 2006 when 87% of the disc was covered, but I don't remember it. So for me and my wife (not so much for my kid, though), it was a pretty special experience for us.
I used Hermes to set up a calendar event and pick a spot to watch, which turned out to be unnecessary because you could see it well from pretty much anywhere in Dehesa Boyal.
